Jenell Ann Diaz

Jenell Ann Diaz, age 66, of Anderson, passed away on December 17, 2022, at her home. She was born on December 11, 1956, to the late Gradie Hoover Porter and Lera Bonnie (Hollingsworth) Porter.
Jenell was a true bright light in her family. She was strong-willed, sassy, and marched to the beat of her own drum. Her family meant everything to her, and she always made sure they never went without. She was friends with everyone, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed meeting people throughout her work life. She spent her free time shopping or cuddling up with her dogs. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandma, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jenell is survived by her significant other Bart Mousa; children Darren Miller, Penny Garner (John), Derek Ice, and Kayla Ice; grandchildren Zach Miller, Riley Garner (Maggie), Cody Garner, Alissa Fye (Jameson), Patience Garner, Grace Garner, Elijah Garner, Brianne Garner, Joseph Garner, Harley Ice, Hanna Ice, and Imari Ice; great-grandchildren Amaya, Theo, and Nash; siblings Torrel Porter (Linda), Greg Porter (Alisha), Gaylen Porter (Teresa), and Ranotta Elbert (Brian); and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, great-granddaughter Malia, and brother Devon Porter.
