Jeffrey Alan Luttrull

Jeffrey Alan Luttrull, 72, of Yorktown, Indiana, passed away from a heart attack and other health complications on July 19, 2026, at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana.

Jeffrey was born on April 10, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to Harvey and Virginia (Miller) Luttrull. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1973 and attended Lincoln Technical Institute on a full-ride scholarship where he studied automotive technology and mechanics. He later pursued Christian ministry and graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1978.

Following his education, Jeff taught Bible and History at Indiana Christian Academy in Anderson for twelve years and served as Youth Pastor at Grace Baptist Church for five years.

In 1990, he focused on his love of automobiles by partnering with his brother, David, to open LNL Auto Sales in Anderson, a business he owned and operated until 2022. During that time, he also owned and operated Luttrull Transport and spent many years driving a semi-truck.

Jeff was a man of many interests and accomplishments. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing and carried a lifelong passion for working on cars. One of his proudest achievements was earning his pilot’s license, and he enjoyed the opportunity to fly small aircrafts. Whether on the road, in the air, or under the hood of a car, Jeff found joy in learning, working, and sharing his knowledge with others.

Jeff was a member for many years at Grace Baptist Church in Anderson before later attending Grace Baptist Church in Muncie. Jeff is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Lambert; son, David (Rebecca) Luttrull; eight grandchildren; brother, David (Cindy) Luttrull; and former wife of 36 years and friend, Jeanne Luttrull. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Virginia Luttrull.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 432 W. Hartman Road, Anderson, Indiana.
