Jeffrey Scott Johnson

Jeffrey Scott Johnson, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 25th after a short and fierce battle with cancer. 

Jeff was born on October 9th, 1957, to Ed and Mary Johnson in Indianapolis. After Jeff graduated from Warren Central High School in 1976, he played college football at Olivet Nazarene University. 

In 1977, he married the love of his life, Dana Noel Johnson. They built a beautiful life and had four children: Jason (Stephanie) Johnson, Ben (Adrienne) Johnson, Beth (Andy) Long, and Sarah (Kerry) Short. One of his greatest joys was being Grandpa to his 14 grandkids: Caleigh, Delia, Edie, Nick, Charlotte, Ainsley, Eli, Allison, Drew, Paige, Olivia, Luke, Reese, and David. 

Jeff was the proud owner of Consigned By Design Furniture with his wife Dana. In addition to being an entrepreneur and former realtor with F.C. Tucker, Jeff dedicated his life to mission work, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through construction and relationships in Latin American countries. Jeff participated in and led 40 trips over the years. Jeff was a faithful member of Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene and in recent years, ITOWN Church in Fishers. 

Services will be held at ITOWN Church, Olson Farms Campus, on Friday, March 1st at 6:30pm, with visitation before from 3:00-6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Commission to Every Nation, memo: Rocky and Karren Chupa, PO Box 291307, Kerrville, TX  78029-1307, missionaries to Guatemala that Jeff loved and supported.
