Jeffrey Allen Bockover of Anderson, Indiana, entered into glory on July 1, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Anderson on September 9, 1964, he was the beloved son of the late Daniel H. Bockover and Nila Roberta Bockover.
Jeff was a faithful friend and a thoughtful listener, known for offering sound advice and living with discernment. He had a passion for fishing and a unique hobby—collecting vintage ice cream makers.
A member of Ironwood Bible Methodist Church in Anderson, Jeff’s faith was central to his life. He also worshipped for many years at Muncie Pilgrim Nazarene Church, where he formed cherished memories and lifelong friendships. The kids at Muncie Pilgrim especially loved when Jeff made his famous homemade ice cream on Sunday nights—he was known for it throughout the church. He loved to spoil them with Christmas stockings, Easter buckets, and plenty of candy, bringing joy in small but memorable ways.
Jeff dedicated 37 years of hard work to the Prairie Farms dairy factory. Even after retiring, many of his friends from the factory continued to call and stay in touch.
Above all, Jeff was a wonderful man—devoted to his family, generous to his friends, and a loving husband. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Bockover; cousins Lora (Larry) Schimmel, Lisa (Kent) Closser, Lynnette Thiebaud, and Dawn (Jay) Brickley; his uncle Archie; sister-in-law Vanessa Bockover; nephews Andrew (Melanie) and Patrick (Samantha), along with their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son, Jonathan Bockover; and his brother, Daniel Lee Bockover.
Jeff’s life was marked by faithfulness, friendship, and quiet generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
