Jeanette Marie Craney

Jeanette Marie Craney, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 10, 2022.  She was born on May 9, 1965, in Indianapolis, IN to Kenneth Vardaman and Maria (Rodela) Liford.  Jeanette attended Arlington High School, and later received her GED.  She worked for Hostess for over a decade and then Allegion/Von Duprin, until she couldn’t work anymore and had to take leave.

Jeanette loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, specifically to Texas, and watching cooking shows. She was a wonderful listener for family and friends, and many sought her advice when in need. She was a devout Christian and lived in His light.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Vardaman; brother, Jamie Keppler.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jay Craney; children, Joey (Jodie) Hignite, Jackie (Ben) Carr, Adrien (Dustin) Burger, Rachel Hignite, and Heather Perkins; grandchildren, Shawn, Andrew, Sophia, Leila, Bailey, Cameron, and Ariel; mother, Maria Liford; sister, Sharon Goode, and brothers, Carl and Tony Keppler; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
