Obituary:
Javier Hernandez, born on November 13, 1999, in Anderson, IN, passed away unexpectedly on June 1,2024, in the same city.
He was a loyal, outgoing, free-spirited individual who was known for his stubbornness yet his giving and loving nature. Javier never held a grudge and touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He leaves behind a myriad of memories that will be cherished by his surviving brother Juan Antonio. From their playful moments of playing in the dirt in the yard to engaging in brotherly golf club fights, Javier's spirit of adventure and camaraderie will always be remembered.
Javier found joy in simple pleasures like listening to music, taking long walks, and embarking on travel adventures with his loved ones. His zest for life and ability to find happiness in the little things inspired those around him.
Javier is survived by his parents Juan Antonio Hernandez and Hollie Carol Eckelbarger; siblings Keenan Myers, Antonio Hernandez (Anjulien), Olivia Hernandez, Stephen Hernandez, Aleigha Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, and Miguel Hernandez; aunts Rebecca Ruiz (Juan), Shelly Wiles (Sharron), and Amanda Wiles; uncle Garry Eckelbarger (Tricia); grandpa Gary Eckelbarger and grandpa Roberto Hernandez; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandma Cathy Eckelbarger and grandma Carmella Hernandez Pacheco and aunt Terry Wiles.
Services to honor and celebrate Javier's life will take place at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services - Anderson on June 11, 2024. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home, 504 W 9th St followed by a Funeral Service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
