Janet (Anderson) McGregor

49, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016. Janet was born on March 5, 1966 to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Short) Anderson. She grew up on the east side of Indianapolis in Irvington. She met her husband, Paul, at school, and the two were married just shy of 20 years. Janet spent her days as a homemaker, caring for her family. She was best known for her love for Paul, her children and grandchildren, cooking, and her love of life and laughter.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Roger and Joseph Anderson. She is survived by: her loving husband, Paul; her three children, Crystal, Jonathon, and Derek Henson; her grandchildren, Gavin, Nuri, Harper, Keiran, and Landon; her three brothers and three sisters; her niece, Karen Tipton; amongst several others who held a special place in her heart.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be 12pm on Friday, February, 19, 2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 11am until the time of service.
