Jacqueline Joyce Jones

Jacqueline “Jackie” Joyce Jones of Noblesville, Indiana was called home April 26th, 2025. Jackie was born April 8th, 1944 to Jo Lynn and Leila Kate Johnson.

Jackie accepted Christ at an early age at Calvery Baptist Church. She attended Marion Community Schools. She also attended Marion Community College and Ivy Tech. Jackie worked at Gencorp in Wabash, IN and retired after 41 years. Jackie loved spending time with family and friends, as well as, talking to everyone. Jackie served at Greater Second Baptist Church for many years. Jackie was the person to call when you got in trouble because she was loving and caring. She loved baking and cooking for family and friends.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memory her son Edward Lewis and daughter-in-law Anita Bakker of Noblesville, IN; siblings Joe Johnson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Van Johnson of Ocala, Florida, Teresa Johnson Cox of Noblesville, IN, and Greg (Carlotta) Johnson of Marion, Indiana; five grandchildren Tia Spaulding, Denise Lewis, Tasha Giroux, Oliver Lewis, and Devon Lewis; and four great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her daughter Chenell Lewis; parents Joe and Lelia Johnson; siblings Richard C. Johnson, Howard D. Johnson, and Elyse Johnson.

Although Jackie is absent from here, we know she is sleeping with the Lord. We say goodbye for now but will be forever in our hearts. We join together in saying “save a seat for me”.
