Irma Jane Hewitt

Irma Jane Hewitt, 62, of Indianapolis, joined loved ones and others who had gone before her on August 18, 2023.  Irma was born on June 12, 1961, in Indianapolis, to the late Lewis and Merlin Hewitt.  Irma was a true giver, she enjoyed elephants, Harley – Davidson, gardening, puzzles and family.  Family always came first, not only biological family but to a great many who she was like a mom to, Mandy Moo is just one example.  Left to cherish Irma’s memory are her children, Terri (Scott) Britton, Tosha Hayes, Justin Wiley, her grandchildren, Timmy Hayes, Ryan Britton, and James Wiley.  She also leaves behind her brother Robert (Diane) Hewitt and sister, Donna Hewitt Scruggs.  Irma’s loving partner, Danny Emery.  Her fur babies, Stormy and Brody.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 22, 2023, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Service – Indianapolis.  In keeping with Irma’s wishes, cremation will follow.
