Irene Jewell Britt

Irene Jewell Britt, 88, of Indianapolis, passes away peacefully on April 28, 2020.  Irene was born in Smith Grove, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Maude Nichols.  Irene was a very kind and loving individual who enjoyed playing pranks, but most of all she adored her family, for that was her true passion.  Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Britt, and 2 sons Billy W. and Richard Britt.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Patricia Barger, Rita and Eva Pridemore, her son, Kenneth Britt, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  A gathering for Irene will be held at a later date.  Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, assisted the family.
