Helen Sue Johnson

Anderson- Helen Sue Johnson, 62, of Anderson, passed away on November 2, 2018 at her home, Lindberg Crossing Nursing Home, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Holdenville, OK to the late Glen and Nancy Johnson.

Helen enjoyed playing bingo, making people laugh, and spending time with all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Jaimey Hammer; 3 daughters Crystal (Tony Collins) Johnson, Misty Johnson, and Michelle Johnson; very special bonus daughter Nicole Smith; 15 grandchildren; 2 brothers Solomon Johnson and Edward Johnson; 3 sisters Karen Hunt, Mary Reynolds, and Nancy Johnson; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; special niece Angella “JuJu” Bowling; special friend Jackie Emmerson; and bonus son Jason Beardsley.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nancy Jane Johnson and Glen Ray Johnson; sister Emmalean Johnson; nephew Raymond Melton; niece Shawna Reynolds; husband Michael Bowling; and mother-in-law Viola Bowling.

A visitation will be held on November 9, 2018 from 10-11am with a funeral service to follow at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
