Harry “Dave” Sturgeon, a beloved father, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 63. Born on January 2, 1962, in Indianapolis. Dave was known for his great sense of humor and his loving nature, embodying the spirit of a devoted father.
He cherished the simplicity of life, finding true happiness in connecting with family and friends. His culinary skills were particularly highlighted by his signature dish, delicious seafood pasta, which left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of dining with him. One his moments in life was cooking at the Eagle in Beech Grove, there he delighted guests with his love of cooking. An enthusiastic supporter of local sports, Dave was a very dedicated fan of the Colts, Pacers, Indiana Fever, and the Indianapolis Indians, as well as IU college sports. In addition to his love for sports, he enjoyed fishing, spending peaceful moments by the water. He also enjoyed classic television shows “Andy Griffith”, “Matlock”, and an occasional Jerry Springer rerun.
Dave is survived by his son David Morris and his daughter, Autumn (Mallory) Morris, who will forever hold his memory close.
