Harold Francis Ringler, Jr.

Harold Francis Ringler Jr., better known as Frankie to his family and friends, passed away on November 23, 2023, in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on May 29, 1955, in Indianapolis, where he resided until his passing.

Frankie was a man of many talents and passions. Frankie worked as an electrician for the city of Indianapolis and recipient of the esteemed Keys to the City from Mayor William Hudnut. Frankie had a deep connection to his community. Through his dedication and hard work as an electrician for the City of Indianapolis, he left a lasting impact on the city's infrastructure. His commitment to his profession earned him immense respect from both colleagues and city officials.

Alongside his successful career as an electrician, he pursued his love for entertainment. He had a knack for making people laugh and brightening their days with his comedic wit. Frankie's vibrant personality extended beyond comedy; he was also a skilled drummer and dancer, bringing joy and rhythm into the lives of those around him.

Frankie's magnetic personality endeared him to many throughout his lifetime. However, it was within his family and circle of friends that he found true happiness. He is reunited in death with his father Harold Ringler Sr., who passed away on June 23, 2019. Frankie will be forever missed by his mother Mary Ringler, who passed away December 14, 1988, and his brother, Charles Parker.

His memory will be cherished by his siblings who survive: Michael (Laura) Ringler; Robert Ringler; Vickie Forthoffer; Rebecca (Tim) McDonough; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews: Bridget, Jessica, James, Nikki, Jodie, Alyssa, TJ, and Mykal.

To celebrate Frankie's remarkable life and bid him farewell with love and respect, a visitation service will take place at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W Morris St., Indianapolis on December 1, 2023. A visitation for family and friends will occur from 2:00 until 3:30PM with a funeral service to follow the visitation.
