Gregory T. Bernard

Gregory Thomas Bernard was born on September 11, 1972, in Indianapolis to the late Thomas and Katherine Bernard. He was a proud graduate of Southport High School, Class of 1990. Gregory had a deep love for travel and found peace near the water. Music and sports brought him joy, and he was a devoted fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

In his thirties, Gregory recommitted his life to Christ, strengthening his faith and relationship with the Lord. He was married for 16 years to Tawonna McGraw, and from this union were born two beloved sons, Tyreese Davonte and Savion Demarco, who were the pride and joy of his life.

Gregory T. Bernard departed this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Tyreese and Savion Bernard; his sister, Kimberly Sterling; his niece, Kourtney Sterling; his aunt, Esther Jones; his uncles, Walter and Thomas Burrell; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
