Gloria Crabtree

Gloria Crabtree, born on September 16, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert and Zelma Butler, and left this world on November 17, 2023, in Anderson, Indiana. She was 69 years old.

Gloria was a beacon of joy, an embodiment of the phrase "everyone's best friend." Her infectious spirit filled every room she entered, making the world brighter with her unique and fun-loving personality. Gloria enjoyed turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, often with silly dances and impromptu singing sessions that left everyone smiling.

A dedicated homemaker, Gloria found immense joy in her role as a mother and grandmother. She adored spending time with her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, creating a treasure trove of cherished family moments. Gloria's happy-go-lucky attitude and warm-hearted nature made her the heartbeat of her family.

Outside of her nurturing role, Gloria pursued various hobbies that brought her joy. She was an avid crocheter, a skilled cook, and had a green thumb- she loved to be in her garden and yard.

Gloria is survived by her children, Lisa Hall, Ronald Crabtree Jr. (Heather), Debbie Navarro, Robert Crabtree (Joanna), Dawn Doroteo (Pedro), as well as her siblings Darlene Inman (Allen), Steve Butler (Suzie), and Mark Butler. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Zelma Butler, and her beloved husband, Ronald Crabtree Sr.

As we mourn the loss of Gloria, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. A visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home on Friday November24th, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm, with a service at 3pm. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
