Geneva Carol Gallen

Geneva Carol Oliver-Gallen, 77, of Indianapolis IN passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, unexpectedly at Community East Hospital. She was born April 11, 1946, in Bowling Green Kentucky, the daughter of Virgie Pauline & Alexander Oliver who preceded her death. Carol was also preceded in death by her husband John Gallen, her five brothers and six sisters, son Billy Taylor Jr, daughter Cheryl Lynn and her grandson Stephen Michael Taylor Jr.
Carol leaves behind her son Steve & Candi Taylor, daughter Kathy Nichols (Taylor), her 8 grandchildren Mistie, Jessica, Heather, Amanda, Billy, Tyler, Peyton and Brooke, 11 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Carol enjoyed spending time with everyone around her. She valued and treasured her family above all else. She enjoyed fishing in her younger days, spending time with family, playing cards, crossword puzzle books, cookouts, playing darts and going to the casino. It’s the little things in life that made her happy.
Service for Carol will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. At Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, with visitation at the funeral home from 10 AM for immediate family and then 11 AM for friends and extended family and until service time. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
