Fred was a natural born athlete, an All Star at Manual Highschool, and a lifeguard at Wes Montgomery Park. He was a diligent worker and held various positions throughout his life, he worked at RCA when they still made records, he worked construction and drove semis as well. The originator of “Pimp My Ride.” He proudly participated in the 1979 Streetcar Nationals at the fairgrounds with his 1948 Plymouth.
Fred genuinely loved his family and was known for his ability to create moments of intense excitement; we all have a Fred story. A true expert at causing both smiles and groans simultaneously, his pranks, and sometimes off-color jokes cemented lasting memories for all.
Fred is survived by his siblings, Janise Murray, Percy Groves Inetta Cullars David murray, Aunts Therlander Harris and Algetha Brown and a multitude of Beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and in-laws. He will be missed
Please join us in celebrating his life with laughter and love.
