Frederick Earl Miles Jr.

Frederick Earl Miles Jr, affectionately known as Tuggie, was born on February 20, 1999, to Marsha Shirley and Frederick Earl Miles Sr. in Gary, IN. He relocated to Indianapolis, IN in November 2014. Tuggie was known as a gentle and caring person with the biggest heart and everlasting smile.

Frederick Jr. received his high school diploma from Penn Foster in 2019 and was employed at Micro Metals in Indianapolis. Tuggie experienced a huge loss in the death of his big brother, Brealon Green Sr., but was blessed with his nephew, Brealon Green Jr., whom he helped to care for. Frederick Jr. also had a close bond with his cousin, Windon Shirley, whom he referred to as his bonus brother.

On June 3, 2022, at age 23, our heavenly Father granted Tuggie his wings. He is preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Carolyn and JC Reed, Leonard Shirley Sr.; paternal grandparents, John Miles and Mae L. Jackson; and brother, Brealon Green Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Marsha (Karl) Powell; father, Frederick (Kathleen) Miles Sr.; the mother of his daughter and his true love, Erykah Standford; his children, Kaylani and Zakari Cox-Miles; siblings, Kanye, LaKila and Dakari Miles; aunts, LaTraill Shirley, Beverly (Etor) Segura, Denise (Melvin) Richardson, LaTisha Miles, and Annette (Monroe) Tolbert; uncles, Leonard Shirley Jr., Mark Jackson, Roy (Valeria) Burgess, Michael Wilson, Timothy Jackson, Gailand Jackson, and Kevin (Marcia) Miles; along with a host of cousins and friends.

Tuggie will be truly missed by all the lives he touched.
