Frances T. O'Rourke

Frances T. O’Rourke, 90, of Carmel, IN, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2023.  She was born August 12, 1932, to James Dixon and Florence (Donovan) Head of Carnegie, PA.  Fran was a member of St. Pius X.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joe O’Rourke; her parents, mentioned above; and brothers Bob and Jim; and sister Virginia Irr.

Fran is survived by her four children: Jay (Juane) O’Rourke – Allentown PA; Mimi (Tom) Kaehr – Carmel; Pat O’Rourke – Carmel and Dan (Laurie) O’Rourke – Cincinnati, OH.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; Donovan, Hailey & Jon O’Rourke; Madeline, Andy, Blaine, Nick, Luke & Audrey Kaehr; Kelly, Patrick, Sean & Molly O’Rourke; Brad, Katherine & Carly O’Rourke and 5 great grandchildren.

She graduated from St. Luke High School in 1950 and went to work as a Commercial Teller for Mellon Bank.  She spent most of her career working for Indiana National Bank until her retirement in 1992.  Fran enjoyed volunteering at Community Hospital and St. Augustine (Little Sisters of the Poor).
