Ethel F. Locke

Ethel F. Locke, age 93, passed away on July 21, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Locke Jr. and Minnie Lee (Sims) Locke. Ethel was a domestic engineer who enjoyed taking care of her family and home. She is survived by her children: Lorraine Anderson, Bruce Averett, Betty Averett, Gail Locke, Melvin Locke, Marvin Locke, Stacey Locke, Phillip Locke, David Locke, Randy Locke, Beverly Talley, and Dennis McGill, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for the family and friends of Ethel F. Locke will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Deliverance Temple Life Center located at 4770 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46203. Reverend Gary Cheatham will perform the funeral service after the visitation and burial will be at New Crown Cemetery. Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services assisted the family with the arrangements.
