Eric Scott Chamness

Eric Scott Chamness, 57, of Mechanicsburg, IN, went home with the Lord Sunday July 2, 2023. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on June 13, 1966.

Eric was hard-working, dependable, and a true provider. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite thing to do. He enjoyed fishing, reading, playing x-box, and reading up on history. He worked for Meijer for 10+ years and then later for Work Release for 10+ years.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lynda Chamness; daughters Brittany (Ryan), Gayle (Brian); sons Kane and Karl (Ashley); and 10 grandchildren Jazmine, Jesse, Jayda, Wyanet, Krace, Adrea, Emery, Esther, Alex, and Elaine; his mother Judy; 2 sisters Lori and Megan; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, 2 sisters Dana and Andrea, and Father Keith.

Erics Celebration of Life will be held at Middletown Lions Club on July 23, 2023 from 1-3pm with a pitch in dinner to begin at 3pm.
