Ella Jeffers

Ella “Kay” Jeffers, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 22,2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, after a long, courageous battle of health problems.

Born on January 30,1965, in Cook County of Chicago, Illinois of Juile Jeffers (Burns) and Walter Jeffers.

She was a cherished mother to her sons Dustin, Eric, Mark Jr. and daughter Paige. Her role as a Granny brought her immense joy, with 14 grandchildren.

Those who knew Ella “Mama Kay” remember her as a loving mother, grandma, aunt, sister and friend whose presence brought warmth and comfort. She found great happiness in spending time with her family and making memories in their lives. She loved being waitress at Waffle House!

Ella is survived by her children, Dustin (Alissa) Clark, Eric (Deanna) Stone, Mark Jr, Paige (Ahmaad) Stone-Byrant, Fourteen grandchildren, Kaiden, Kinsley, Kash, Kingston Clark Hailey and EJ Stone, Peyton and Brayden Stone, Isabell, Isaac, Avaon and Alijah Rivera, Rosalyna and Raiyn Byrant.

Throughout her life, she carried with her a deep sense of love and devotion to those closest to her. Ella’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her deeply. May her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, June 01, 2025, at Ellenberger Park 5301 E St. Clair St. Indianapolis
