Elaine Weaver

Elaine was born on July 22, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She passed away on January 19, 2026. She grew up in Sheridan, Indiana, where she graduated from Sheridan High School in 1967. She then attended and graduated from DePauw University.  

For thirty-six years, Elaine made significant contributions as a personnel specialist at the Defense Finance Agency located at Fort Benjamin Harrison. After her retirement in 2009, her influence continued to be felt, as she remained an active participant in her community and her church.

Elaine was a devoted member of the East 91st Street Christian Church.

Elaine is survived by her loving sister, Doreen Anderson, along with her brothers, Ralph Weaver and Warren Weaver.

Her final resting place will be at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested a donation to East 91st Street Christian Church in honor of her memory.
