Edward Anderson Gillespie

Edward Anderson Gillespie, 69, of Alexandria, passed away on December 28, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1954, in Anderson to Jack and Betty (King) Gillespie. Ed graduated from Alexandria Monroe High School in 1972.

Ed was a loving, talented, and thoughtful person. Ed loved spending time with his family, coloring and his cat Louie. Ed lived all over the United States some places include Clear Water, Florida., Los Vegas, Nevada., San Francisco, California., and Hilo, Hawaii.

Ed is preceded in death by parents Jack and Betty V. Gillespie, two brothers Rick and Gary Gillespie, a nephew Nate Gillespie, lifelong friend Keith Fortley.

Ed is survived by his nephew Luke and wife Brandy (Pierce) Gillespie, their children Leo, Spencer, and Adeline Gillespie. Aunt, Velma (Darrell) Bowlin, nephew Drue and his children Gavin and Sydney Gillespie. Many cousins and great friends.
