Edith Akers, 63, of Indianapolis, transitioned to the spirit of God. She is survived by son, Joseph Akers, twin daughters, Edith Akers, and Jerry (Virgil) Patton, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Mike (Debbie) Pelfree, Steve Pelfree, Kenneth (Zara) Pelfree, and here beloved dog Teddybear. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Betty Pelfree.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at John Knox Presbyterian Church located at 3000 North High School Road. Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis assisted the family with arrangements.
