Douglas Brumfield

Douglas Lee Brumfield, age 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Friday, June 20, 2025. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 7, 1949 to William and Charlotte (Fields) Brumfield.

Doug graduated from Arlington High School in 1968. He was a member of the Arlington High School Band. After high school, he attended Purdue University where he graduated in 1972. While attending Purdue University, he was a member of their marching band. During his time at Purdue he made many long lasting friendships.

After college, he worked for Central Supply Company for over thirty years and developed many friendships during that time.

Doug was a big sports fan and especially enjoyed watching and attending the Indy Car races. Doug also enjoyed family gatherings, he was usually taking lots of pictures of all the family members.

Doug is survived by brother Darrell Brumfield, several nephews and a niece and their families, and close and dear friend Joanie Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Charlotte Brumfield, brothers Dennis Brumfield and Mark Brumfield.
