Donald Joe Robbins

Donald “Don” Joe Robbins, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2022.  He was born April 3, 1944, in Crawfordsville, IN to Orren R. Robbins and Oneta (Smith) Robbins.  Don graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1962.  After high school, he entered the field of construction.  Don married Joyce (Wildman) Robbins on June 17, 1965.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, John R. Robbins (Marcie) from Tennessee and Larry D. Robbins (Michelle) from Virginia.  Don is survived by a son, Rodney M. Robbins and daughter, Donna Jo (Anthony) Johnson, both from Indianapolis.  He has 8 grandchildren from Indianapolis and a grandson and great grandson from Texas; along with many out-of-state nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2022, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN with a service to start at 2pm.  Don’s final resting place will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville, IN.
