Donald Gene Turney Jr.

Donald Gene Turney Jr., age 55, of Anderson, passed away at his home on December 5, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1967, to the late Donald Gene Turney Sr. and Patricia Ann (Wheat) Turney.

Donald was a wonderful dad, grandpa, brother, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and nascar. He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was loving, caring, and always made any situation fun and light-hearted. Everyone loved him and he didn’t know a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by his best friend and life partner Kathy Adams; children Brock Turney, Coty Adams, and Candace Turney; grandchildren Amariyah, Aalyah, James, Braxton, Jayden, Roman, Jackson, and Ryder; siblings Tonya Stokes, Shawne Wallace, Lyne Turney, and Keli Turney; and several niece and nephews and brother-in-law Jackie Adams.

He is preceded in death by his children Donny Turney III and Amber Turney; parents listed above; and Grandma Eleanor Mundy.

A visitation will be held on Monday December 12, 2022, from 1-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
