Donald Patrick Brooking

Donald Patrick Brooking, 79, a proud U.S. Army veteran, passed away peacefully at home with his family present on April 24, 2025, in Noblesville, Indiana.

He was born on July 20, 1945, to Ellsworth and Rita Brooking. Donald grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where he met his wife of 57 years, Roberta. They married on Feb 24, 1968. Donald worked at United Parcel Services in customer service for 27 years. In his past time, he enjoyed listening to the oldies, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play, spoiling his grandkids, and going to Erica’s for breakfast. Don will be greatly missed!

Donald is survived by his wife, Roberta; brother, Dave Brooking; daughter’s Denise Dale (husband David Dale), and Danielle Brooking; granddaughter, Emerie, grandson’s Andrew, and Quincy; cousin, Sharon Blunk; sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many family friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Rita, father Ellsworth, brother Dean and his wife Sandy and Dean’s son Mike.
