Dennis R. Ashbaugh

Dennis R. Ashbaugh, age 48, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2023. He was born in Anderson on June 20, 1974, to David Ashbaugh and Rae (Finnerty) Ashbaugh.

Dennis was a hard worker in every sense of the word. He enjoyed working on cars and built a “shit-ton” of model cars throughout his life. He was an avid wrestling fan, enjoyed gambling and the casino, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved his family dearly and always tried to help in any way he could. He was proud to have served in the United States Navy for a brief time. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandpa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dennis is survived by his children Leah Huston, Kortney Talley (Zach), Devin Ashbaugh, and Austin Ashbaugh; grandchildren Ryan, Hope, Aiden, Brantley, Clay, and Matilda; Mother Rae Ashbaugh; brother John Ashbaugh (Gail); sister Samantha Basey (Chad); and special friends Patty, Ryan, Robbie, and Karla.

He is preceded in death by his father David Ashbaugh and brother David E. Ashbaugh.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023, from 2-4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
