Dennis “Denny Brandle

Dennis “Denny” Brandle, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Pendleton on August 9, 2026.

He was born in Pendleton on July 3, 1954. Denny graduated from Pendleton Heights High School before proudly joining the United States Air Force and serving his country in Korea.

After completing his military service, Denny began building custom-designed homes. He later transitioned to civil engineering, applying his skills and talents throughout his career.

Denny was a loving husband, family man, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 31 loving years Linda, along with the family and friends who knew and loved him.

His life was defined by his dedication to his country, his work, and, most importantly, the people he loved. He had a laid back style with a tremendous sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him.

Denny enjoyed playing guitar and watching NASCAR, football, basketball, golf, and anything on ESPN. He was even caught watching goat racing—he loved races of all kinds.

His giving style and love will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Survivors include his wife, Linda (Offenbacker)

Daughter Sarah Beagle (husband) John and their son Jason.

Bishop Brandle (son Josiah) Barry Brandle (Children Mason, Emerson, Addison, Ellison and Molly.

John (Krista), their boys

Rowan and Levi.

His siblings, David (Michelle)

Paula Knight, and Patia Brandle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Denny’s life will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2026, from 2–6 p.m. at The American Legion, 117 W. Main Street, Pendleton, IN. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or the VA.
