Deborah L. Hester, age 75, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2023. She was born on Mebane, NC on August 18, 1947.
Deborah was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family, that loves her dearly. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all she knew. Deborah was a wonderful mom but the most wonderful Nana to her grandchildren.
Blessed to have loved her and left to cherish her memory are her son Kerry L. Hester (Gail), daughters Paula J. Hester, and Monica D. Ward (Clint), 7 grandchildren Kaveen Hester, Jacob May, Deborah Black (Tracy) Maurijah May, James N. Colton II (Daryln), Thomas Colton, And Tobias Colton, 3 great grandchildren Ahmere Black, Zai’yon Black, and Zaylen Black. In addition, she will remain in the hearts of her sister Teresa Mebane, brother Alonza Mebane (Dee) and her many nieces and nephews.
Deborah was proceeded in death by her parents, James Mebane and Thelma Gilchrist Mebane, sister Tamara Lawrence, brother’s Howard Mebane, James “Dump” Mebane, Kenneth Mebane, and Carlton Mebane.
