Deborah Kay Bolin

Deborah Kay Bolin, age 71, of Anderson, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson on November 8, 2022. She was born on June 30, 1951, to Leon Earl Bell and Delores Mae (Harrison) Bell.

Debbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, daughter, and friend. She was extremely proud to be a homemaker to her family and loved her children deeply. Debbie was sweet, outgoing, and truly never met a stranger. She was giving to a fault and always had her home open to those in need. Helping people was her passion. Her faith was important to her, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of North Anderson Wesleyan Church for many years. In her spare time, she loved to fish with her late husband Kenny, go shopping, and always had TV Land playing in the house. She had the biggest heart and was a true joy to know. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by her children Kenneth Leon Bolin Sr. (Jennifer), Shawn Layton (Todd), Holly Gibson (Pat), and Christopher Bolin (Ami); mother Delores Bell; grandchildren Kenna Bolin, Angel Bolin, Joshua Lindamood, Cody Layton (Alicia), Chelsie Layton, Dakota Ballard, Hayden Ballard, Jordan Gibson (Megan), and Josh Gibson (Lane); great-grandchildren Nazaya Opp, Mila Opp, Brayden Layton, Kendall Layton, and Everly Gibson; siblings JR Bell (Terry), Cheri Stoner (Gary), David Bell (Jeanie), Bruce Bell, and Steve Bell (Maria); and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Kenneth Bolin; Father Leon Bell; and brother Mitchell Bell.

A visitation will be held on Monday November 14, 2022, from 3-5pm with a funeral service beginning at 5pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
