Deborah A. Dane

Deborah, “Debbie” Annette Dane (Beard) went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 20, 2025, after complications from an emergency surgery at 71 years of age. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, with over 40 years on the west side.

She leaves behind her 3 children: Amy Martin wife of Matt Martin and her children Cole and Adra, Brandon Davis and his children Kyra her daughter Niylah, Lexi, Landon, Bostynn and Ellie Dane and Justin Reidy and her children Ismael, Tommy, Jaxon, Kmya and Kalani on the way. Debbie’s siblings Melita Lecona, her husband Alex and James Beard, his wife Diana. Debbie’s nieces and nephews; Richie, Elena, Erika and Sara. Great nieces and nephews, in-laws and many friends. Preceded in death by her father Melvin Beard and her mother Annabel Beard and Nelson Arbogast.

Debbie was fierce, her love, her kindness (unless you crossed the line LOL) and her generosity. She was always up for a good laugh and Karaoke. She loved to sing and listen to music. I am not sure if there is a big enough word to describe her affection for yard sales and thrifting. She loved to cook a good homemade meal. Let us not forget Long’s Donuts - even on camping trips. You were welcome to her house any time. She was a bartender/waitress for many years with even a short time of being the sample lady at Sam’s – sharing food and making friends, she loved both. She enjoyed talking to friends and family on the phone.

We 3 kids knew she would stand up and defend us no matter what, maybe even if we were wrong (LOL)

We knew she loved us, and we could always go home.

Most importantly we know she knew Jesus. It is what gives us hope.
