Dawn Reneé Thompson, 70, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on August 14, 2025. She was born on July 21, 1955, in Anderson to the late Raymond and Imogene Hartman.
A graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1973, Dawn later retired from Keihin after more than 25 years of dedicated service.
Dawn was a talented and creative spirit who loved crafting, quilting, and crocheting. She found joy in baking and was known for her love of animals. Above all, Dawn cherished her family, and the time spent with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Thompson (Allan Wolf), stepdaughter Casey (Travis) Cleveland; grandchildren, Payton Wolf, Kayler Laub, Bentley Laub, and Oakley Cleveland; sisters, Ragena (Everet) Cook and Sylvia (Darnell) Naylor; brother, Ray (Terri) Hartman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Chris Millikan.
Dawn’s kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
