David Lynn McDonald II, known by his family and friends as both “Fat Head” and “Little David”, 31, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 5, 2022. Though David’s death was unexpected and his time here on earth has ended too soon, he will continue to live on through his family, David was deeply loved by so many. David had a huge impact on everyone he came across: he had a kind smile, his laugh was contagious, his love unconditional. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 28, 1991. Little David loved to be with his family and friends and making people laugh with his silly personality. David especially loved being “Uncle D”, he would play with his nieces and nephews for hours. He was a big kid at heart, had a heart of gold and loved hard. David truly was one of a kind.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Honey Robertson; grandparents, Michael G McDonald and Charles Robertson; and aunt, Nicole D McDonald.
Little David is survived by his father, David “Big David” McDonald; siblings, Michael McDonald, Chelsee McDonald (John Schnepf), and Brianna McDonald; and grandparent, Frances McDonald.
Join us Tuesday Oct 18th, 2022, to show our respects to an amazing and forever cherished son, big brother, uncle & grandson.
“A letter from Heaven”
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I am not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
All filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
The way you did today;
While thinking of many things
We didn’t get to say
I know how much you love me,
As Much as I love you;
And each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too
When tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart;
For every time you think of me
I’m right here in your heart.
