David Lee Tarter, 62, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on April 21, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1960, in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Dorothy (Sallee) Tarter. David attended Howe High School and was a laser operator for General Devices. David loved to watch Nascar Races and Colts Football Games.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca (Griffin) Tarter; and parents, James and Dorothy (Sallee) Tarter.
David is survived by his son, Joshua L. Tarter (Shasta); grandchildren, Harley, Joshua and Matthew; great grandchild, Amariah; siblings, James, Larry and Mark Tarter, and Julie (Tarter) Meister; along with many cousins and friends.
