David L Bennett

David L. Bennett, age 78, of Anderson, passed away on February 23, 2019 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson. He was born on October 27, 1940 to the late Edward and Fredia Bennett.

David worked at Bennett Lumber for several years, and later retired from Meijer as a team leader. David loved NASCAR, watching tv, and vacationing in Disney World. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by wife Linda of 49 years; children Becky, Carol, Brenda, David, John, Bob, Tina, Shelly, Amy, and Cody; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brothers Dale Bennett and Danny Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Louise, and brother Richard.

A visitation will be held on February 28, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church, 323 E. School Street, Anderson, IN, 46012 from 11-1PM with a funeral service beginning at 1PM. Pastor Bob Adams will be officiating.
