David Harrell, a beloved family man and devoted friend, passed away peacefully at home in Indianapolis, surrounded by his loving family on August 2, 2025. Born on September 24, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, David was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
David dedicated several years of his life to his career as a Metal Fabricator, where his craftsmanship was unmatched. Yet it was his zest for life that truly defined him. A true embodiment of what it means to live in the moment, David was often the life of the party, known for his spontaneous dance moves that could light up any room, whether he found himself on the dance floor or even atop a table. His infectious laughter and genuine warmth made everyone feel welcome and loved.
A loyal fan of the Indianapolis Colts and a passionate admirer of Harley Davidson, David’s enthusiasm for life extended far beyond his hobbies; it was woven into the very fabric of his being. He shared his passions with those closest to him, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Vickie Harrell, whom he married in 2013. He leaves behind two loving daughters, Michelle Roberts and Heather Marie, and a cherished grandson, Fernado Arjona Jr. David's spirit also lives on through his siblings: Tina (Jr) Caldwell, Larry (Angie) Harrell, and Lillian (Tony) Amaya, along with many nieces, nephews, and his beloved five fur babies, as well as grand-dog Blue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Beverly Harrell, and his siblings: Jack Allen Harrell, Forrest Harrell Jr., Sheryl Elliott, and Steven Harrell. Their memory serves as a reminder of the deep love and connection that runs through David’s family.
A visitation to honor David’s life will be held on August 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221.
