David Lee Clute

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved David Lee Clute after a sudden illness. He was at peace with his passing and wasn’t afraid to leave this earth as he knew his heavenly Father was there to greet him.

He was married to the love of his life, Tracy, for 41 years. Together they had two sons, Kenton and Ryan. David was born and raised in Anderson. He graduated from Madison Heights High School and retired from GM/Delphi after 30 years of employment.

David was a hardworking, dedicated husband and father. He loved to have fun and bring joy and laughter to others through his humor and wit. He loved nature. He and Tracy spent much of their time outdoors riding bikes, walking, gardening, and taking trips with their camper. He also enjoyed fishing with his sons, father and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy, his sons, Kenton and Ryan (Carla) Clute, his mother, Linda (David) Harrington, brother, Rick (Cindy) Clute and sister, Debi (Gil) Morris. Also, surviving are many nieces, nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Clute, Mother-in-Law, Ann Purvis, and Father-in-Law, Tom Friend.

There will be a come and go Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, June 1, 2025, beginning at 1:00pm, at the Chesterfield American Legion, 5100 Mounds Rd., Chesterfield, IN.
