David Alan Rhodes, 58, of Anderson, IN passed away October 5th, 2025 at Communtiy Hospital of an extended illness.
He was born August 12th 1967 in Hamilton County to Glenn and Charlotte Rhodes. He attended and graduated from Noblesville Central High School and resided in the Noblesville/Anderson area all his life. David worked numerous other jobs before landing at Taco Bell where he had been for the last 7.5 years.
David was a comedian. Always brightening everyone’s day. He enjoyed working, mowing, playing cards, fishing, and eat at his favorite restaurants like Skyline Chili and Panda Express. He enjoyed collecting two dollar bills, coins, hats, cups, and most of all- box cutters.
Survivors include Grandpa Jim Turney of McCordsville, IN; Uncle Wayne Turney-Bozell; Aunt Ina Mae Koors of Westfield, IN; brother in-law Don Surenkamp; stepchildren, Franklin, Aleia, and Chloe as well as his step grandchildren; his four-legged friend, Flash; and special friends Mo, Amanda, Michelle, Marlyn, Randy and many others.
David was proceeded in death by his parents Glenn and Charlotte Rhodes; wife Katherine (Merila) Rhodes; and sister in-law and dear friend Brenda Surenkamp(Merila).
