Darlene Kay Owens

On August 17, Darlene Kay Owens, 78, passed into the great card hall in the sky. Born and raised in New Palestine, she was funny, kind and loving woman with a big heart and endless snack drawer. Darlene is survived by her son James, daughter-in-law Jessica, and three beloved grandchildren Sophia, Maia, and Celia, as well as her sister Donna and nephew Jeff. Her infectious laugh, love of cats, and card shark skills will be greatly missed. To celebrate her life, there will be an open house at The Depot in Greenfield, Indiana on September 6 from 1-5. Instead of flowers, please donate to Darlene’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
