Cynthia L. Carson

Cynthia L. Carson, age 64, of Anderson, passed away on June 27, 2022, peacefully. She was born on June 24, 1958, in Johnstown, PA to Ralph and Myrna Luke.

Cynthia was a graduate of Madison Heights High School, Class of 1976. During her school years she was a very accomplished clarinet player. She worked for Gaar’s Nursery for many years and that is where she met her late husband and some of her closest friends. Cynthia kept a tight circle of friends whom she truly adored.

Cynthia was a talented artist, enjoyed crafting, and loved horticulture. She spent her time outside in nature, walking the fields looking for arrow heads, tending to her flower beds and garden, and with her animals. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cynthia is survived by her children Drew Moyer (Ashley) and Leah Carson (Cayden); Mother Myrna Luke; grandchildren Trish Moyer, Drew Moyer Jr., Dommy Steward, and Kiante Wheat; siblings Keith Luke (Tomoko), Bruce Luke (Roxanna), and Jane Ann Luke; nephew Matthew Dove (Michelle); Aunts Joyce Garms and Liz Carr; Uncle Jack Luke; and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Carson, father Ralph Luke, and both sets of grandparents.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and CNAs at Beaumont Nursing Facility for their excellent care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 9, 2022, at Cynthia’s home, 3429 E 150 S. Anderson, IN 46017 from 2-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in memory of Cindy.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
