Cory Randall Zigler

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cory Randall Zigler, who left us unexpectedly on May 15, 2025, at the age of 36.

Cory was born on June 14, 1988. Although his time with us was short, he touched many lives with his quick wit, intelligence, unwavering love and loyalty for his family and friends.

Cory is survived by his mother, Dorothy McCartney; his loving sisters, Katie Herring (Mark), Carrie Boling, and Stephanie Zigler, his beautiful, cherished daughters, Elana and Korrie Zigler; and his extended Boling and Zigler families. His passing is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Cory was preceded in death by his Dad, Marc McCartney, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A dedicated restaurant manager, Cory was known for his leadership, humor, and ability to connect with others. His quick wit and sharp intellect were matched only by his love for family gatherings, where he would often bring laughter to the room with his playful jokes and light-hearted spirit. He had an infectious energy that made him a beloved son, father, brother and friend.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Cory’s legacy of warmth, laughter, love and loyalty will live on through his family and the many friends whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Cory. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Hendricks Power building, located at 86 N County Road 500 E, Avon, IN 46123.
