Corinne Walker

Corinne Walker, 96, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 31, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on May 16, 1927, in Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County), to the late James and Thelma (Dillender) Young.  Corinne attended Muhlenberg High School.  She worked as a clerk for RCA Records, retiring in 1987.  Corinne was a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church.

Corinne loved to crochet, read, and spend time with her family.  She also loved to cook and to give generously to others. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husband, J.A. Moore; husband, Thomas Walker; daughter, Sandra Kay Rhoads; and sons, Bruce Egan Moore and Danny Walker.

Corinne is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Drummond of Indianapolis, IN; son, Terry Lee Moore of Greenwood, IN; stepson, Brett Walker of Nashville, TN; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 12pm to 1pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Lawrence United Methodist Church, 5210 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
