Connie Sue O'Haver

Connie Sue O’Haver, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 14, 2026. She was born on July 12, 1944, in Indianapolis, to the late Raymond and Stella (Miller) Mogle.

Connie married her high school sweetheart, Robert O’Haver, and the two shared a loving marriage of nearly 50 years, until Robert’s passing in 2013. Together they built a warm and caring home, raising three children: Shawn, Cara, and MaryKathleen. Connie poured her heart into her children’s schools, staying deeply involved with the PTAs at Lakeside Elementary and Warren Central High School, and becoming a passionate advocate for special needs students along the way. Her compassion carried into her many years of volunteering with United Cerebral Palsy of Indiana, where she gave generously of her time to help others.

Connie had a true artist’s spirit and found joy in creating ceramics, a passion she turned into her own small business, Connie’s Interiors. She also cherished the hours spent digging into family history through genealogy research alongside her sister.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert O’Haver; her son, Shawn O’Haver; her daughter, Cara O’Haver; and her sister, Sharon Holler.

Connie is survived by her daughter, MK O’Haver; daughter-in-law, Kay Albright; and nephew, Jason Hester, who will carry her memory forward with love.

Connie will be laid to rest privately, alongside Robert, Shawn, and Cara, at Memorial Park Cemetery, together once more.
