Clyde G. Looper, 93, of Anderson, passed away on July 13, 2026, at Alexandria Rehabilitation Center.
Born on November 25, 1932, in Livingston, Tennessee, Clyde was the son of Elbert and Christine Looper. He spent many years working at Guide Lamp before his retirement.
Clyde found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and especially treasured time spent visiting family in Tennessee. His hardworking nature, love of family, and appreciation for the outdoors will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Victoria Looper; son Earl (Clare) Keith II; daughters Ginger (Chris) Rambis and daughter and caretaker Becki (Kenny) Brown. granddaughters Sarah (Austin) Vanderheyden and Rachel Jozaites; Grandchildren Earl (Chloe) Keith III, Christopher Manawat, Nichole Stevens, Erin Rambis, Jordan Doll, Molly (Bobby) Norman, James (Lynsey) Brown, Amanda Landaker, Lindsey Sidwell, Ashley Watt, and Ericka Etherington; Great Grandchildren Leo Jozaites, Tess Josaites, Holden Vanderhayden, Daphne Keith; and brother Bobby (Claudia) Looper.
Clyde was preceded in death by daughter Robin Sidwell; brothers Doyle, Perry, Albert, Billy, Lorn, Lelon, and JB Looper; and parents Elbert and Christine Looper.
A celebration of Clyde's life and memorial services will be held at a later date.
