Christopher Lee Elwood passed on to his better place on November 3, 2023.
Chris was born on August 3, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Steven and Patty Elwood. He grew up on Indy’s northside and attended school in Lawrence Township. Chris later moved to Derby, Kansas where he worked at Dillons grocery store, participated in the AF-ROTC and was a 1998 graduate of Derby High School.
Chris enjoyed working on his cars, watching his Philadelphia Eagles football games, and watching movies with his sister, nieces, and nephew. He was kind soul who always wanted to be a good friend.
Chris was proceeded in death by his father Steven Allen Elwood, his stepfather Steven Eward, grandparents Marvin and Maxine Hupp, Gene (Francis) Elwood and Mary Elwood.
He will be greatly missed by his mother Patty Jo Elwood, his sister Jennifer Elwood, nieces Alyssa Elwood and Jalynne Bruner and nephew Brayden Bruner. Along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Rest in peace Christopher.
