Christine Yeager Young, a compassionate and beloved mother and grandmother passed away on November 6, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on August 11, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Christine's journey through life was characterized by her generosity and unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need, always accompanied by a bright smile.

Growing up in Philadelphia as the beloved daughter of Bernard and Dorothea Yeager, Christine developed a deep appreciation for music. She found solace and joy in playing the piano and pipe organ, channeling her emotions and creativity into beautiful melodies. Music remained an integral part of Christine's life throughout the years. Elvis Presley's captivating tunes and the soulful melodies of Motown were always at the forefront of her playlist. These genres spoke to her heart and brought comfort during both joyful and challenging times.

Christine also had a love for arts and crafts which allowed her imagination to flourish. Additionally, she often engaged her mind with crossword puzzles and relished daily devotionals as a way to reflect upon life's deeper meaning. However, Christine was also a true social butterfly, she enjoyed engaging in various activities that brought people together. She had a particular fondness for bingo, where laughter and friendly competition filled the room with joy. Christine also cherished spending quality time with the family furbabies over the years; their companionship was immeasurable.

Professionally, Christine excelled in her career as a Credit Manager/Mortgage Services specialist. Her expertise enabled her to navigate complex financial matters with ease while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Colleagues admired her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring seamless transactions.

Christine leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on forever in the hearts of her cherished survivors. Her daughter, Carol (Pedro) Muñoz, and son, Michael (Stephanie) Muñoz, will forever treasure the wisdom and love she bestowed upon them. Michael’s children, MiKayla and Bryce Muñoz, brought immense joy to Christine's heart. Jennifer, Christine's beloved daughter, and her child, Alycia Sánchez, will forever cherish the memories they created together. The father of her children, Isidoro Muñoz, also survives.

In addition to immediate family members, Christine is survived by her siblings and their respective children: sister, Pamela (Jim) Wright; brother, Stuart (Nancy) Yeager; sister, Wendy (Russ) Brickel; sister, Thea (Steve) Yeager – Clark; as well as her brother, Craig (Jacci) Yeager. Her siblings provided unwavering support throughout their lives. The bond they shared was unbreakable, providing solace during times of hardship and countless moments of joy.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Dorothea Yeager, and her brother, Drew Yeager. Her husband, Albert Young, also preceded Christine’s passing. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Steve Clark.

Christine Yeager Young will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, adored sister, cherished aunt, and faithful friend. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who crossed paths with her. The memory of Christine's generosity will continue to inspire others to live a life filled with compassion.

Friends and family will gather from 1:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday, November 25th at Tuxedo Park Baptist Church located at 29 Grant Ave., Indianapolis, IN, and from 2:00pm on, there will be more sharing and spirituality along with fellowship.
