Chester Milton Slinkard Jr.

Chester M. Slinkard Jr., 73, of Indianapolis, passed away surrounded by family October 09, 2025, at his home in Indianapolis. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, May 20, 1952 to the late Chester (SR) and Iva Slinkard (Clevenger).

Married 39 years to Loretta M. Slinkard (Lewis) with two children, Bruce L. Slinkard and Aileen Q. Slagle (Slinkard) with 3 grandchildren.

Chester left the Indiana School for the Deaf on September 1972. He retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Service after 39 years. His hobbies were listening the 70's to 80's music and collecting old films.

Chester was proceeded in death by both of his parents, Chester SR and Iva Slinkard, four brothers, Robert L. Slinkard, Harry W. Slinkard, Phillip E. Slinkard, and Eric J. Slinkard.

Survived by his wife, Loretta M. Slinkard; son Bruce L. Slinkard; daughter Aileen Q. Slagle (Slinkard); son in law Mitchell T. Slagle, and 3 grandchildren Xyla, Ivanna, Sawyer Slagle; his sister Celia Brierley; two brothers Fred Neubert and Rodeny Slinkard, several nieces and nephews.
